Halloween challenge with HBS

I was absolutely ecstatic when my friends over at Hobby Builder's Supply ( asked me to use my pickup truck to create a Halloween scene for their 5th annual Halloween Challenge! I said yes, of course! It was such a fun project and way to help promote their contest which actually has some really good prizes! I'll share the contest info but also link the products I used to create this scene in case you want to find some similar ones.

So... entering the challenge is super simple. You create a Halloween scene or use one you have already created (as long as you haven't entered it before) before October 25th. You fill out this form and submit your photos on the website, right here. Voting is from October 26th - 30th. The top three votes win either a $100, $200, or $300 gift certificate to spend at That's a pretty good prize right?!? I would absolutely love to see so many of my followers on Instagram enter this. It's such a fun project to get you in the mood for Fall. Which by the way, is my most favorite time of the year.

I really hope you love my scene but I also hope it will inspire you to get creative and make one of your own. The challenge ends on October 25th, and with the way the past month has flown by, it will be here before you know it! Again, the link to enter the contest is here. Please tag me on Instagram @joyfulcottageminiatures so I can see what you come up with. I want to see all of your spooky and not-so-spooky scenes.
